Public data, compiled and cited

Health and safety data reports

Workplace injury, ill health and enforcement statistics for the UK, turned into tables you can sort, cite and download. Every number links to the government table it came from.

How these reports are made

  • Public data only

Every figure comes from a published government table, linked from the page it appears on. We add no estimates of our own.

  • Built by a script

A script in the site repository downloads the source workbook and writes the page. The method is stated and can be repeated.

  • Free to download

Each report ships a CSV with the official area or industry codes, so you can join it to your own data.

  • Refreshed on release

Each page says which release it was built from and when the next one is due. Provisional figures are marked.

Using the data

You are welcome to quote the figures, reproduce the tables or use the CSV files, with a link to the report. The underlying data is Crown copyright, published under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Each report has a cite-as line at the end.

If you spot an error, or want a breakdown we have not published, tell us. Reports are refreshed when the source publishes, and each page says when that is due.
