What this site is
Safety Docs provides free tools, templates and guidance for health and safety documents in Great Britain. You may use the documents you make here for your own business or for clients.
What it is not
Nothing on this site is legal advice, medical advice or an HSE approved document. HSE does not approve assessments. A document made here is a starting point that the employer must review against the actual workplace, the product safety data sheet and current guidance before relying on it. The duty to assess and control risks stays with the employer.
Hazard data
Substance data is compiled from the ECHA classification and labelling inventory and HSE EH40, with the source and date shown on each record. Records with no ECHA or HSE source say so. Always confirm against the supplier data sheet for the product and concentration you use. We do not host or reproduce manufacturer data sheets.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for loss arising from use of the site or of documents made with it.
